Our Research Facility Our office has a major component directly related to research. Our coordinator, Linda Poston, RN, manages each of the clinical trials that are being conducted in conjunction with several pharmaceutical companies. The purpose of research is to study the effects of new drugs entering the marketplace or drugs already on the market, but are being studied for new treatments.

Current Research Topics:

  1. Adolescent Acute Migraine Study
    • 12 Month Study
    • 12-17 years of age
    • Experienced migraine attacks for more than 6 months
    • Have between 1 and 8 migraine attacks per month
  2. Pediatric Acute Migraine Study
    • Single Attack Study
    • 6-17 years of age
    • Experienced migraine attacks for more than 6 months
    • Have between 1 and 8 migraines per month
