Dr. Thomas Stanley is a graduate of the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his residency training at Boston City Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts as well as in the Department of Neurology at Harvard University Affiliated hospitals in Boston. He performed a fellowship at the National Hospital for Neurological Disease and also performed tutorials in Electromyography and Electro diagnostics at the Kings College Hospital in London, England.

In 1977, Dr. Stanley began his practice of Neurology in Savannah. He has hospital appointments at all three Savannah Hospitals. He also has university appointments at the Medical College of Georgia as an Assistant Clinical Professor and Mercer University School of Medicine as Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Stanley is a member of numerous professional societies, has performed many research studies and given lectures on a variety of neurological topics. Dr. Stanley specializes in the treatment of adults.
