Dr. Joel Greenberg is a graduate of Princeton University and the University Of Miami School Of Medicine. He received his residency training in Neurology and also completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Greenberg is board certified by the American Board of Neurology, American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and The American Board of Sleep Medicine.

In 1986 Dr. Greenberg began his practice in Neurology in Savannah. He is a member of the medical staff of all three Savannah hospitals. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at Medical College of Georgia and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Mercer Medical School. Dr. Greenberg has authored numerous articles on a variety of neurological based topics and he also has presented lectures throughout the country on topics such as Sleep Disorders, Management of Post-Traumatic Seizures, EEG Interpretation, Sleep Apnea, Parkinsonism, and Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Greenberg has been recognized for outstanding teaching with awards from the Department of Internal Medicine and the Department of Family Medicine at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Dr. Greenberg specializes in the treatment of adults and has special expertise in neurophysiologic testing.
